Miami Dolphins De’Von Achane returned to practice on Monday and is expected to play Miami’s Week 1 opener against the Indianapolis Colts, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
Achane, 23, has been sidelined for the past two weeks, missing the Dolphins’ final two preseason games. The running back was held out of practice as a “preventative measure,” according to head coach Mike McDaniel. The hope was that the injury wouldn’t linger with rest and that he’d be ready for Week 1.
