Christina Applegate has broken her silence after a recent hospitalisation.
The 54-year-old actress addressed the recent health scare on Monday, sharing an update on what’s going on in a post on Instagram.
“Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes. Health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong chick and I’m getting stronger and better every day,” she wrote.

“I’m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I’ll be back with more to say soon enough.”
Applegate shared the message alongside a photo of her new memoir, You With the Sad Eyes and a mug with ‘kissy kissy’ on the front and two kiss prints.
The actress, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021, was hospitalised in Los Angeles in March.

It is not clear if the reason for her hospitalisation had anything to do with MS.
“I have no comment on whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are,” a rep for Applegate told Page Six at the time.
“She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast.”
Days later rumours swirled that things were looking very bad for her health, but the post from the Married… With Children alum has squashed any speculation that her health was going severely downhill.
Since going public with her diagnosis, Applegate has been open about her health struggles.
Earlier this year she gave a heart-breaking update, and revealed that she was confined to her bed due to ongoing pain, while talking about how she still tries to take her daughter Sadie, 15, to school.
“I want to take her; it’s my favourite thing to do. It’s the only time we have together by ourselves,” she told People in February.
“I tell myself, ‘Just get her there safely and get home so you can get back into bed.’ And that’s what I do.”
Applegate put it bluntly that her life “isn’t wrapped up in a bow”.
“People’s lives, sorry for lack of a better term, f—ing suck sometimes. So I’m being as honest and raw as I possibly can,” she added.
