There was a hidden Hollywood star among the sea of maroon and blue at Friday night’s AFL clash between Brisbane and Carlton.
Kevin Costner was spotted taking in the action at the Gabba in Queensland during his latest visit Down Under.
The Oscar-winner watched the Lions defeat Carlton 100-89 from a corporate box, with fans and cameras quickly clocking the star sitting among the crowd.

“A bit of Hollywood royalty there,” commentator Brian Taylor remarked during the game. “It doesn’t get much bigger than Kevin Costner.”
The Yellowstone actor’s surprise appearance comes as Costner spends time in Queensland filming Honeymoon With Harry, an upcoming dramedy also starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Sarah Pidgeon.
The film follows a man who unexpectedly bonds with his late fiancée’s father during an unusual honeymoon trip, with Gyllenhaal and Costner leading the cast.

Production has seen pockets of Brisbane being transformed into movie sets in recent weeks, with Gyllenhaal and Pidgeon recently spotted filming scenes in Teneriffe.
The 71-year-old has also reportedly been seen dining around Brisbane and Noosa, including a visit to waterfront favourite Sails at Noosa and Fortitude Valley restaurant SK Steak & Oyster.

Influencer Kayla Boyd, wife of former NRL player Darius Boyd, also shared a snap with the actor after bumping into him last weekend, describing him as “kind” and “an absolute gentleman”.
Costner is not the only Hollywood name to find themselves at the footy while visiting Australia.
Just last week, Sydney Sweeney was spotted at a Sydney Swans game during a whirlwind visit with her father.
The Euphoria star, who also previously attended a Swans match while filming Anyone But You in Sydney, was shown on the big screen smiling and waving to fans during the game.
Sweeney later shared glimpses of her trip on social media, including visits to Bondi Beach and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, revealing it had been a “bucket list” trip for her dad.
