The New England Patriots clinched the AFC East division on Sunday, following the Buffalo Bills’ 13-12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Cameras caught the team watching the game on a bus ride home, along with their reaction to the Bills losing and them clinching the division. It marked the first time the Patriots have won a division title since the 2019 season, when Tom Brady was the starting quarterback.

They made sure to take care of business on the road against the New York Jets on Sunday to even make it a possibility. The team dominated the Jets in a 42-10 victory on a day when quarterback Drake Maye threw for five touchdown passes.
Winning the division was one of the goals Patriots coach Mike Vrabel set for the team in the beginning.
“April 7th, we said three things: win the division, host home playoff games, compete for championships. We got the first one taken care of,” said Vrabel.
As Vrabel noted, there’s still work to be done.
The ultimate goal is winning a Super Bowl, and the Patriots have put themselves in a great position to chase that goal. With that said, what a remarkable turnaround for a team that went 4-13 last season.
