New York Knicks forward/guard Josh Hart decided to cause chaos on Saturday by taking a side in the great New York Yankees and New York Mets debate.
There will never be a “true” New York baseball team, but Hart decided to stir up some trouble anyhow by declaring that New York is a “Yankee city.”
Obviously, that ignited a storm of controversy in Hart’s mentions because he took a side in one of the fiercest MLB debates of all time. Also, the post was poorly timed since the Mets defeated the Yankees, 12-6, at Citi Field on Saturday.
The Mets have a better record (52-38) than the Yankees (48-41) at present, too. This was not the best time to post this!
Yes, Hart shared his take on the New York baseball debate, but at least for a day, New York was a Mets city.
