Red Lobster is giving one customer endless shrimp for 25 years – here’s how to enter

    -

Red Lobster is set to continue its popular endless shrimp deal — but only for one lucky customer.

In April, the chain announced the limited-time return of its all-you-can-eat Endless Shrimp promotion for dine-in customers. The deal, priced from $24.99 to $29.99, allows guests to start with three shrimp dishes before they can order up to two more at a time.

Although the special will soon come to an end, one lucky customer will be able to continue indulging, according to a Wednesday video on Red Lobster’s Instagram. The company has announced that it will be giving away an “Endless Endless Shrimp Card,” awarding one person with one free Endless Shrimp meal per month for 25 consecutive years.

“Endless just got truly endless. But only for one lucky person,” the company wrote on Instagram.

For the chance to win the card, customers have to tag the friend they’d like to go to Red Lobster with in the comments on the restaurant’s designated Instagram and TikTok posts about the giveaway. Any additional comments will not be considered as extra entries.

The U.S.-based sweepstakes ends Wednesday, June 17, at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, with a random drawing conducted on or around Thursday, June 18.

Along with the Endless Endless Shrimp Card, the winner will also get one year of jujitsu classes and a biometric safe. Or, the customer could choose an alternative prize of $15,000 cash.

The return of the “endless” seafood deals followed Red Lobster’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing two years ago, which saw the closure of over 100 of its nearly 650 restaurants.

The company then escaped bankruptcy in September 2024 after being acquired by RL Investor Holdings LLC and receiving approximately $70 million in fresh investment. At the time, Damola Adamolekun became the CEO and brought new ideas to Red Lobster’s menu and marketing.

“There’s a lot of positive signs, but we inherited a very damaged brand, so there’s still work to do to repair all of that,” Adamolekun, the former CEO of P.F. Chang’s, told The Wall Street Journal in February.

Under Adamolekun’s leadership, Red Lobster has overhauled its menu, launched a happy hour to attract more customers and refreshed its marketing strategy.

However, he told the WSJ that management had been reviewing restaurant leases and closing underperforming sites to sharpen the company’s focus on stronger markets. It appears the oldest Red Lobster in history was affected by that plan, with the restaurant in Tallahassee, Florida, closing its doors last month after 56 years of business.

The Tallahassee Democrat reported that the outlet’s 1970 menu included baby shrimp and crabmeat and baked oysters for $1.85, while steak and lobster would set you back $3.55. A story in the Democrat at the time said Red Lobster would bring “family priced seafood” to the capital city in an atmosphere designed to make you feel “at home.”
