Internet melting away by the mere possibility of Netflix releasing tomorrow the very first trailer of the last season of Squid Game! Announced by DiscussingFilm, the replies went chaotic with a mixture of hype, sheer confusion, and random Marvel references-to say the least!

Oh, the joy! The final season of Squid Game! So there’s a trailer as a first look for whatever is to come. The show, having literally become an overnight blockbuster, is ending with this season, and immunity already teeters at the thought of it. One user, Giii, almost pleaded, ‘Final season means we’re entering endgame territory. Choices, consequences, and probably no clean exits.’ Well, duh. If the two seasons meant anything for us, it would be that no one is ever cleanly out of this show.
Not everyone is there, though. Spider-Man (yes, that is the display name) replied, “Havent even finished season 2 💔,” and well, same here. It’s just very hard trying to keep up with Netflix being dropping whole seasons all at once. Looking forward, Mukesh Singh said, ‘I am waiting for its third season to come soon.’ Slow down, buddy, we haven’t even had the trailer for this one yet.
That somehow lends itself to the ever-existing argument over… Thanos? Curiously, a good number of the replies were throwing around arguments about whether Thanos is dead or not, which is never even remotely related to Squid Game. User Why should have a Raccoon kicked this cryptic cluster off, and the replies descended down a rabbit hole from there. ‘But thor killed him,’ Spider-Man chimed again. Another replied, ‘He should’ve been the main villain from the players.’ What does that even mean? Who knows. Twitter is a lawless wasteland.
The final season does have some folks upset about it. Goodtogo00 laid down the existential dread: ‘Last one? Hearing it is depressing, this is a show you can end whenever YOU WANT.’ True, but also… money. Netflix knows what it’s doing. Meanwhile, Dion called out Netflix’s release strategy: ‘I never understood the break Netflix loves to do. It’s all or nothing.’ Preach. The binge model is brutal when you’re left waiting for months between drops.
Then you’ve got your obligatory ‘I’ve not watched it yet’ crew. PENN GAELEFAITH admitted, ‘Havent watched the passes seasons before,’ while Jay’s son said, ‘Guess it’s almost time to try out this show.’ Welcome to the party, folks. You’re in for one hell of a ride. If you’re not too keen on spoilers, maybe avoid the trailers. Nico, however, shared, ‘I rather avoid watching trailers, I’m just gonna be patient.’ Respect.
Legit hype. WeAreSyncVault called it ‘a global phenomenon returning for one last round,’ while mBitcasino was ready for the snack time: ‘Time to cancel all plans and get the popcorn ready!’ Same energy. Cinegasm summed it up most elegantly with: ‘Let the games begin… one last time.’

So, set your alarm and mark the days on your calendar. The Squid Game finale is coming, and if the replies are to be believed, it’s going to be a big mess of emotionally charged moments with random Marvel references left and right.
