Nicole Kidman stepped out in Las Vegas for a work event that saw her almost bump into ex-husband Tom Cruise.
The Australian actress arrived at The Dolby Colosseum inside Caesars Palace alongside her Practical Magic 2 co-star Sandra Bullock.
The pair attended the Warner Bros presentation at the annual convention of cinema owners, CinemaCon, sharing a first look at their long-awaited sequel to the ’90s hit.
The moment on stage marked a narrow miss for the 58-year-old, with Cruise also at the same presentation to promote his upcoming black comedy Digger.
The action blockbuster superstar gave his first look at the new movie, in which he plays a cat-loving billionaire with a beer belly and thinning hair.
“It took 40 years for me to be able to put on the boots of Digger Rockwell,” Cruise, 63, said before introducing the trailer.
Following Cruise’s appearance on-stage alongside Oscar-winning director Alejandro González Iñárritu, the Hollywood studio then showcased about five other upcoming films before Kidman and Bullock were introduced to the crowd.

This would have allowed just enough time for the exes to miss each other at the photocall and backstage.
Cruise and Kidman were married for 11 years, from 1990 – 2001, and have barely crossed paths at public events in the 25 years since until CinemaCon.
The duo were both dressed in black for the outing, while Bullock smouldered in an unbuttoned red suit with just a bralet underneath.

On-stage the duo – who play sisters Gillian Owens (Kidman) and Sally Owens (Bullock) – said returning to film the sequel, almost 30 years after the original, felt “oddly natural, like we haven’t aged a day”.
They also gave details about the plot of the movie, with Bullock revealing her character is single with two grown daughters and the sisters pass their family’s skills down to the next generation.
Practical Magic 2 is due out in Australian cinemas on September 10, while Diggers is due out a few weeks later on October 1.
