What makes the Mack, Jack & McConaughey organization so special is that it isn’t just a celebrity-branded fundraiser. Though it’s fronted by Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, ACM Award-winning recording artist Jack Ingram and coaching legend Mack Brown, it’s become one of Austin’s most high-profile and effective community philanthropy events.
Besides the fact that it combines three public figures with real local roots, their families are also heavily involved. The fashion show and luncheon, which takes place the day before the big gala, is co-hosted by Camila McConaughey, Sally Brown and Amy Ingram.

Additionally, all three of the McConaughey children attend the annual event alongside their parents. Levi, Vida and Livingston are clearly part of the family’s philanthropic presence and were introduced early on to the mission of helping with community causes.
The Importance of Giving Back
On the red carpet at the 2026 event, we asked McConaughey about the importance of having his family involved in charitable efforts.
“When I leave out of here, this life, I want to hand it off and I want it to continue,” McConaughey said.
Continuing to speak about legacies, he stated how he encourages his kids to shadow himself and their mother to learn about giving back. “I want them to understand, you know, that, hey, part of whatever that dollar is you make a day needs to go to a tide. It needs to go somewhere,” he explained.
By 2025, the MJM organization reported raising over $78 million since launching in 2013, with a record $17 million raised in 2025 alone. Funds support groups such as Dell Children’s Medical Center, HeartGift, CureDuchenne, just keep livin Foundation, and The Rise School of Austin. That gives donors a clear sense of where the money goes.
