Listen, we know it’s not the most lyrically profound, nor is the message anything super deep or whatever, but this song is just such a BANGER. It embodies the feelings of a nostalgic summer; the production is so dreamy, everything in the song is so intentional, applying deja vu to a situation where you’re seeing an ex move on with someone new is so creative, and the bridge is the best thing to scream-sing. After “driver’s license” dropped, I was curious to see how she would follow up on such a huge hit. But alas, our girl knows exactly what she’s doing.
