Hilaria Baldwin’s recent Instagram post has lent inspiration for pelvic floor exercises. From this gifted yogini and wellness visionary comes a candid video demonstrating the need to talk about rare muscle groups while encouraging a bevy of women not to be shy anymore.

Pelvic floor exercises are colloquially known as Kegels or “Mula Bandha” in yoga. The model feels that these muscles are really for strength and stability of the whole body. She continued stating that contracting those muscles help us with things like balance and preventing incontinence-a lot of women suffer from it, yet rarely is there any open discussion about it. “It feels awkward to some to talk about…but it shouldn’t,” she wrote in the caption. “Don’t be shy…exercise those pelvic floor muscles!”
The comments poured in immediately, a regalian form of appreciation for her far-from-frivolous post. One supported: “More of these exercises please!! I’m tired of peeing my pants when I run, sneeze, jump, move… you get it!” Another in support of the importance of this advice said, “This is so important! Trust me, you’re going to want to know as you leave your 50s and get into your 60s.”
The funny comments were: “Did anyone else automatically flex?! 🤭,” who referred to Baldwin as one of “the most authentic fitness gurus I have ever followed.” Others waxed lyrical on less funny experiences; one described in detail how recovery from her surgery made her appreciate the importance of pelvic floor strength.
Other responses were entirely off-topic, some commenters straying from the subject to ask questions about Baldwin’s diet-a subject that prompted sarcastic answers such as, “ice cubes and ego.” However, the majority of the discussion remained focused on the important subject here: the need to normalize discussion about women’s health.
It is the unorthodox approach imparting humor with helpful insight that resonated with Bieber-pitching so much. Many others thanked Baldwin for addressing something so often dismissed, describing this as “an important concept, especially for when we women age.”
One of those reactions can come shudder-worthy for some but Baldwin’s solution is a more engaging approach, pulling her followers into the dialogue. Her following keep returning because she shows that any topic, no matter how uncomfortable, belongs in wellness:

Then, one of the doubters left this comment: “Now immediately doing them 😂”.
