Full House star Jodie Sweetin has revealed the meagre pay-out she recently received for her eight-season run on the hit ’90s series.
While the house in question may have been full, Sweetin, 44, unfortunately does not have a full wallet to match.
Speaking on the McBride Rewind podcast, the actress, who portrayed the quick-witted Stephanie Tanner during the show’s initial 1987-1995 run, shared that she was last paid only one cent in residuals for her efforts.

Residuals, like royalties, are a passive form of income actors receive when their shows are re-run on television networks.
But according to Sweetin, the rise of streaming culture has put a stop to that.
“I got a one-cent check the other day,” Sweetin told host Josh McBride, explaining the process of selling and distributing shows is a dying art.

“There’s no syndication anymore because it’s all in streaming. Who gets paid for that? Nobody gets paid for that.”
Although acknowledging she received more Full House residuals when she was younger, she said they gradually dried up as the ABC show was broadcast on television less often.
She went on to say that contrary to popular belief, she can’t rely on checks from her time on the show anymore, and does not live the “extravagant life” some might think.
“Sure, in my 20s, there would be money, but not reliable,” Sweetin said.
“You don’t know how much it’s going to be or how often they’re going to run the show.”
She added, “So, sometimes you’re like, ‘Oh, cool. That was nice.’ And then sometimes you’re like, ‘All right, well, there’s a nice dinner out.'”
This revelation comes in stark contrast to recent reports revealing the cast of Friends’ eye-watering yearly earnings.
In a recent interview published by the Times of London actress Lisa Kudrow lifted a lid on the show’s ongoing success.
Following the sitcom’s 2004 finale, the core cast still earns a staggering $27 million every year in residuals more than two decades later.

Sweetin, meanwhile, says she “rents [her] house.”
“I have credit cards that are maxed out. I live a normal life,” Sweetin said.

“And yeah, there are moments when you’re like, ‘This is going well’ and there are times when you’re like, ‘I need a day job.'”
She went on to say that despite this, she’d always be interested in reprising her role should another Full House spinoff be green-lit.
