The net inflow in equity saw an uptick in February to Rs 25,977.91 crore, compared to Rs 24,028 crore in January, according to February 2026 report by Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

This marks a resilience and behavioral shift among investors in India despite the market volatility, as they tend to flee at the first sign of negative news.

The largest allocation out of all schemes went into multi asset allocation fund, which tends to offer exposure to both equity and commodities. According to AMFI data, investors poured Rs 8,476 crore, which is a marginal dip from last month at Rs 10,485 crore.
