The actor, while uploading a brief video, wrote underneath it ‘One heist connects them all’. It is true that the plot has not been revealed fully; nonetheless, the first impression online was not about the heist but was rather focused on the potential casting. The observers were quick to point out that the announcement hints at a reunion and not just a meeting of the superheroes from the superhero flicks. The response was a mixture of acceptance and excitement that was based on the very thought of having these actors in a different genre.
One of the comments most likely to be heard repeatedly in the thread was just naming the characters: ‘Thor – Hulk – Storm.’ This succinctly highlighted the main vigor for the majority of the viewers. Indeed, the user referred to Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor, Mark Ruffalo‘s Hulk, and probably a mention of Storm, although a particular character was not indicated. This remark initiated an active and captivating conversation where another user responded, ‘Don’t forget Druig!’ alluding to Barry Keoghan’s character in ‘The Eternals.’ The chat was a sign that the audience is already starting to guess the possible actors through the large MCU cast.
A different comment, but one similarly popular, put forth the same idea only in a question form: ‘Our Thor, Hulk, Druig, and Storm in one movie?!’ The stance was of pleasant surprise, and the potential casting was given a big treat event for the fans of the franchise. The reactions were equally enthusiastic, with one person merely stating, ‘Marvel devotees will enjoy this,’ thereby confirming the pre-sold audience that this project is likely targeted at.
Moreover, the announcement concerning the Marvel properties was very favorable and among the public, it was the film that had been during its anticipation that the project was accepted. ‘This will be a super action movie, one person predicted and to support the statement added a row of fire emojis to underscore the point. Other people’s voices also echoed the same thoughts with comments like ‘Gonna be great to watch’ and ‘Can’t wait to see it’ claiming the biggest part in the responses. The idea of a major heist drama with such high-profile players attached was a firmly attractive bait.
However, not everybody’s opinion was entirely positive. Some users humorously pointed towards the obvious and added a joke. ‘Whole Marvel character movie,’ one user said that and laughed with the emojis. Another one simply said, ‘All Marvel actors by the way,’ which was their way to point to the casting. These remarks served to show the interesting problem where the movie had to be very closely identified with the rumored cast’s past roles for some time. It could happen that being linked to the established identities is both an advantage and a challenge for ‘Crime 101′ in terms of marketing and creativity to stay away from this.

The online discussions and debates now revolve around the question of who among the superhero stars will really be in the cast and how they will fit into the storyline of a heist movie. It is not yet decided whether the film will be a straightforward action thriller or a combination of that and something that subtly acknowledges the actors’ past will be revealed in time. It seems the hype-generating heist has already been successful, judging by the initial response, and thus the mission has already been accomplished.
