    Blue Ivy Carter and Heiress Harris are proving they are the next generation of stars to watch! They have been nominated for the YoungStars Award at the 2024 BET Awards scheduled to be held on June 30 in Los Angeles. 

    Heiress Harris’s mom, Tameka Harris, couldn’t contain her excitement as she took to Instagram to celebrate her 8-year-old’s nomination. ”

    “Wow wow wow! What an incredible surprise! My 8yr old is nominated for a BET Award!! I’m am super proud & thankful @bet @betawards for thinking of my baby!” she gushed

    She also went on to praise other young people nominated in the category, “So many talented young stars in this category! Congratulations to all of u! Wishing u all nothing but the best! 1 time for @therealvanvan_ & Heiress for this positive msg they are conveying to their peers wit “Be You” also 1time for @gottalovejunie clothing brand @jujubeezclothing Heiress has on!”

    Other nominees for the YoungStars Award include Akira Akbar, Demi Singleton, Jabria McCullum, Jalyn Hall, Leah Jeffries, and Van Van.

    Blue Ivy Carter, the 12-year-old eldest daughter of Beyoncé and Jay Z, has already established herself as a force in the entertainment industry, racking up many awards ahead of the BET nomination.

    At only 9 years of age, Blue became the second youngest person ever to win a Grammy award when “Brown Skin Girl” won the Best Music Video award. She is also the youngest person to win a BET award for the Her Award for “Brown Skin Girl.”

    This year, Blue Ivy’s nominations at the BET Awards include Best Movie for “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,” Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Collaboration for “American Has a Problem (Remix),” Viewer’s Choice Award for “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and the Her Award for “16 Carriages.”

    Adding to her impressive resume, Blue Ivy will be starring alongside her mother in Disney’s highly anticipated “Lion King” prequel, “Mufasa,” set to hit theaters on December 20. Clearly, she’s just getting started!
