Star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown has been playing with a bone bruise on his knee for some time now, and it has noticeably affected his game on the court. While it is not entirely clear just when the injury occurred that afflicted him, the Georgia native has been trying to play his way back into health. And while we are hearing there is not much that he can do for it by resting, with the stakes for Boston so high as a defending champion with designs to repeat, even his teammates can’t help but wonder if maybe there is something he can do to address it.
Boston big man Kristaps Porzingis is among them, and went as far as to say that “maybe he needs to take care of it” in a recent postgame interview. Does Porzingis know something about Brown’s knee that we do not?
