Masaba Guptas Latest Craving Is A Healthy Veggie Not Everyone Loves

    -

Masaba Gupta, a self-confessed foodie, never turns down cakes, coffee or other indulgent treats. But her love for good food goes beyond just the sweet stuff. In a recent Instagram post, the fashion designer gave fans a sneak peek of what she’s currently craving – a dish made with karela (bitter gourd). You might be wondering how she’s enjoying this bitter vegetable that many of us avoid. Well, Masaba’s karela dish looked absolutely mouthwatering. The karela was finely chopped into even slices and sauteed in a kadhai with what seemed to be a blend of spices. We’re guessing that the result was nothing short of scrumptious, given Masaba’s update on social media. Alongside it, she wrote, “In other news, I am now craving karela.”

Previously, Masaba Gupta shared what she’d be indulging in the winter season. On her Instagram Stories, she gave a glimpse of some nutritious snacks perfect for the chilly weather. The post featured three traditional dishes that are not only delicious but also great for boosting immunity against flu and other seasonal infections. In the snap, we spotted three steel tiffin boxes, each filled with winter essentials: the largest box held Gond laddoos, a sweet treat made with edible gum (Gond) and wheat flour. Next was homemade Chawanprash, a health-boosting mixture of herbs, spices and fruits; and finally, Chhuara, a delightful concoction of dried dates, tamarind, jaggery, ghee, and spices like cumin, coriander and cinnamon.
