Like father, like son: Jase Richardson will be in the 2026 NBA Dunk Contest, with the former Michigan State star and Orlando Magic rookie trying to win the title like his dad did… twice!
So, who is his dad? That would be former Warrior, Bobcat, Sun, Magic and Sixer Jason Richardson, who won back-to-back Slam Dunk trophies in 2002 and 2003. J-Rich (Senior) averaged 17.1 ppg in a 13-year career, and maybe we’ll see Jase involve his dad in the Contest somehow on Saturday night, which would be delightful and cool.
