Two of the top wrestling programs in the nation are ready to face off for local bragging rights. Iowa will battle Iowa State on Sunday afternoon as part of the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series.

Led by head coach Tom Brands, Iowa recently defeated Missouri, Illinois and Oklahoma State at the National Duals Invitational, but the Hawkeyes fell to Ohio State in the finals. They shut out Pitt, 36-0, in their most recent outing.
Iowa State had a strong performance at the Cyclone Invitational before dominating Nebraska-Kearney on Nov. 14. Head coach Kevin Dresser will attempt to push the Cyclones past the Hawkeyes for the first time since 2004.
