The stakes have gotten even higher — the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix will have major implications for who walks away an F1 Drivers’ champion this year.

Prior to the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the championship picture looked pretty clear, but that all changed last weekend. With Red Bull’s Max Verstappen dominating in Sin City and both McLaren drivers getting disqualified for excessive skid wear, this race has blown wide open.
Lando Norris still leads the pack by 24 points, but he’s not in the clear. If he outscores Verstappen and Piastri by two points in Qatar he will be in good shape, but if not, the title fight will be decided at the season finale in Abu-Dhabi.
