    -

A Test cricket match between Pakistan and South Africa is scheduled to take place tomorrow in Rawalpindi. Under the directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani, a comprehensive security and traffic management plan has been implemented.

Over 5,500 Rawalpindi Police officers have been deployed to ensure safety during practice sessions and the upcoming Test match.

Additionally, more than 367 officers are assigned to manage traffic in the city, especially around the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Police officials said senior officers are actively present on the ground, inspecting operations and briefing the deployed forces.

Snipers have been positioned on rooftops surrounding the stadium to provide high-level surveillance and respond immediately if required.

A dedicated control room has been set up to monitor the stadium and nearby areas through CCTV cameras.

Meanwhile, mobile units from local police stations, along with personnel from the Elite Force and Dolphin Squad, are conducting regular patrols around the stadium to maintain law and order.

Authorities emphasize that the layered security plan has been designed to ensure the safety of players, officials, and spectators alike, while also maintaining smooth traffic flow in the city during match days.
