It’s getting down to the nitty-gritty when it comes to the recruitment of four-star wide receiver Kohen Brown. He’s extremely sought-after with 41 total offers, which includes one from Texas. Speaking of the Longhorns, they have made Brown’s list of his top eight schools per national recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman.
Rivals has Brown as the No. 243 overall player and the nation’s No. 74 wide receiver. They also have the 6-foot, 180-pounder as the No. 34 recruit out of Texas.
It was a pedestrian sophomore campaign for Brown as he amassed just 116 yards and 11 receptions and scored one touchdown in eight games. However, he had a breakout year as a junior in 2024. Brown registered 54 catches for 1,084 yards and 11 scores while also gaining 138 yards and scoring two touchdowns on the ground. He also contributed on defense a bit with 11 tackles and two sacks.
Texas didn’t offer Brown until a few weeks ago, but he already has an official visit set up for June 6.
