No. 5 seed Tennessee (22-10, 11-7 SEC) will play No. 4 seed Vanderbilt (24-7, 11-7 SEC) Friday in the 2026 SEC Tournament quarterfinals.
Tipoff between the Vols and Commodores is slated for 3:30 p.m. EDT at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Friday will mark the 206th meeting between the two in-state rivals. Tennessee has a 133-72 record in previous games during the all-time series that dates back to the 1921-22 season. The Vols are 8-1 in games contested at neutral sites and have won seven of the last 10 games against Vanderbilt.
The schools last played on March 7 with the Commodores earning an, 86-82, victory at Food City Center. The teams first played on Feb. 11, 1922 with the Vols defeating Vanderbilt, 20-5.
