The Tennessee Titans are not maintaining the status quo with their roster and are staying true to their word that they are always looking to add talent.
Just a week after shuffling their initial 53-man roster, the Titans are adding a veteran to the mix at inside linebacker by signing unrestricted free agent Kyzir White.
The Titans have been searching for depth at the inside linebacker position throughout training camp, and now have brought in a player who has long been linked to the Titans as a potential fit.
White, who is coming off a tremendous season with the Arizona Cardinals, has the skill set that should allow him to slide right into Dennard Wilson’s defense. He is also another solid veteran presence for the locker room, having served as a team captain for the Cardinals in 2024.
In 2024, White was a leader for the Cardinals’ defense and finished with 137 tackles, an interception, 2.5 sacks, three passes defensed, and eight QB hits across 17 starts.
Originally a fourth-round pick by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2018 NFL draft, White has six years of experience with the Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Cardinals, and has accumulated 615 total tackles and 7.5 sacks.
The Titans will have to make a corresponding move before making the signing official, but White should be available for the team for their season opener on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
