Tennessee is already recruiting toward its 2028 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to wide receiver Makhi Scott-Adkinson.
“Blessed to receive my eighth offer from the University of Tennessee,” Scott-Adkinson announced.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect is from Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. He has not accumulated any recruiting rankings.
Warner Robins is home to a bevy of football talent, such as former Tennessee wide receiver Marquez Callaway.
Tennessee is Scott-Adkinson’s first SEC scholarship offer. Kennesaw State was the first school to offer him a scholarship on Jan. 29. Additional schools to offer him a scholarship include Georgia Southern, Wake Forest, Troy, Florida Atlantic, USF and East Carolina.
Tennessee has yet to receive a commitment for its 2028 football recruiting class. It currently holds seven commitments for its 2026 recruiting class: QuarterbackĀ Faizon Brandon, wide receiverĀ Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive linemanĀ Gabriel Osenda, wide receiverĀ Tyran Evans, linebacker Braylon Outlaw and defensive linemanĀ C.J. Edwards.
