After playing on Monday Night Football in Week 4, the Denver Broncos hit the practice field for the first time this week on Thursday ahead of their upcoming showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Of note, Broncos guard Quinn Meinerz did not practice due to an illness, but coach Sean Payton said after practice that he’ll be fine. Meanwhile, tight end/fullback Nate Adkins (concussion protocol) practiced on a limited basis after being an estimated non-participant on Wednesday.
Elsewhere on the injury report, outside linebacker Jonah Elliss (ribs) and wide receiver Marvin Mims (hip/ankle) were both limited. Defensive lineman Malcolm Roach (calf) and inside linebacker Drew Sanders (foot) did not practice. Both are eligible to return from injured reserve this week, but they presumably need more time to recover.
The team’s complete Thursday injury report can be seen below.
The Broncos will practice again on Friday before releasing a final injury report with game statuses for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.
