The Saudi Pro League continues to be a key player in the transfer market and, as reported by José Félix Díaz in Marca, has set its sights on two Real Madrid players: David Alaba and Dani Ceballos.
Although no formal offers have been made, the interest from clubs such as Al Nassr and Al Hilal in both players is notable. The Saudi league, which has recently seen a wave of high-profile signings, is evaluating possible additions and has added several big names to its list, including Greenwood, Conan, and Ederson, as well as the two Real Madrid players.
However, despite the interest, the departure of Alaba and Ceballos does not seem imminent. The Austrian defender intends to fulfill the remaining year of his contract with Real Madrid and has not shown any signs of wanting to leave. Having recently recovered from an injury, he has already returned to play some minutes in a friendly match, demonstrating that his priority is to continue with the white team.
For his part, Ceballos’ situation is different. Although he has not received a formal offer from Saudi Arabia, his future could depend on a return to Real Betis, a club with which he has been strongly linked. The decision about his future will not be made until the final days of the transfer window, once the season is underway.
