Saints find fun way to incorporate reporters in their schedule release

    -

The New Orleans Saints’ 2025 schedule is here, and with that, we got another rendition of their schedule release video, this time with an interesting twist. After ranking the past five years’ worth of them, we now have another contender in the race as Kellen Moore and his “anger translator” Rob Kazi made their debut in front of New Orleans media. It’s a fun take on a skit introduced by former President Barrack Obama and comedian Keegan-Michael Key at the 2015 White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

When it comes to schedule release videos league-wide, this is not in the upper echelon of the NFL, especially considering the one the Los Angeles Chargers shared, which was (per usual) outstanding. While the Saints have had a few great ones, especially their 2022 “game night” rendition, this one is solid overall. It does a good job of incorporating some of the most notable personalities in Saints reporting, and is all-around funny to watch.

It felt like a unique take on the schedule release topic, and while it doesn’t do any one thing exceptionally well, it was fun and to the point, which was good. The part that ties it together is the schedule, practically having nothing to do with the video whatsoever, aside from a small ticker on the bottom of the screen, which added to the overall fun of the video. Not bad, not outstanding, but just a good schedule release with some fun for the fans to keep things entertaining in an otherwise slow part of the offseason.
