Raiders will be without Pro Bowl TE Brock Bowers in Week 18 vs. Chiefs

    -

The Kansas City Chiefs finish their 2025 regular season on the road against an AFC West rival, the Las Vegas Raiders, on Sunday. The last-place Raiders will bring plenty of energy in their home finale, but will be missing a key offensive player.

The Raiders recently placed star tight end Brock Bowers on the Reserve/Injured List, ending his season. The second-year tight end, who has endured a knee injury throughout the year, was shut down before Week 17 in preparation for rehab in the offseason.

Bowers was named to his second straight Pro Bowl last week as a starter for the AFC ahead of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. He has tallied team highs in receptions with 64, receiving yards with 680, and receiving touchdowns with 7 in 2025. The former Georgia standout had caught four touchdowns in his last four games.

The Chiefs’ Pro Bowl tight end may or may not be playing his final career game on Sunday, but fans could see the duo together during the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, as part of Super Bowl LX Week in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Bowers needed at least 107 more yards to pass Mike Ditka’s 1,980 for the most receiving yards by a tight end in his first two seasons in NFL history.
