Ohio State is now 10-0 following another impressive showing last Saturday night. The Buckeyes played host to UCLA in what will be their last regular season night game, and despite being bitten by the injury bug, they won 48-10.
Ryan Day and the Ohio State football team will now shift focus to Rutgers. The Buckeyes’ final home game of the regular season will present the coaching staff with another chance to host recruits on campus for a gameday, which has been a massive recruiting tool for the Buckeyes as of late.

Ohio State has flipped numerous recruits in the last few weeks, and for many of those recruits, a gameday visit occurred shortly before the flip took place.
The program once again played host to another handful of recruits this past weekend, and it is already paying dividends. The Buckeyes earned a whopping three commitments following the victory over UCLA, and the team is looking to continue its fall flip fest.
On Ohio State’s campus this past weekend was 2026 four-star cornerback CJ Bronaugh (Winter Garden, FL / Windermere) whose official visit actually wrapped up Monday. The visit seems to have gone as well as possible, and the Buckeyes are now being looked at by some the favorites to earn his commitment come signing day.
Ohio State was far from the most active team early in Bronaugh’s recruitment, which has been somewhat of a roller coaster ride.

Bronaugh originally committed to play for Nebraska in November of 2024. Following the early commitment, his impressive play on the field led to him gaining more interest from many other programs, and he did his due diligence and took official visits with Florida, Florida State and the team he was committed to, Nebraska.
After his final official visit, he decided to decommit from the Cornhuskers and commit to Florida.
Fast forward to the fall and Ohio State decided to get in on the sweepstakes, offering Bronaugh on Oct. 25. Since the offer, Ohio State has been in constant contact with him, and he decided to take an official visit to Columbus for the UCLA game.
The official visit didn’t conclude until Monday, but even before it ended Ohio State’s chances seemed to have already increased greatly. Proving this true, multiple predictions favoring the Buckeyes to flip him were submitted, including by Steve Wiltfong of On3.com.

Bronaugh is still committed to Florida, but the Buckeyes have to like where they sit in his recruitment after this weekend’s visit. Bronaugh is the No. 11 CB in the 247Sports Composite and is the No. 100 national recruit. He is also the No. 14 recruit out of the talent-rich state of Florida.
Quick Hits
Easy to get lost in all of the news this weekend, Ohio State offered what looks to be one of the nation’s top wide receivers in the 2028 recruiting class. Tylan Henderson (Pflugerville, TX/ Weiss) took to social media late this weekend to show off his offer.
It is still very early in the 2028 cycle but Henderson is already showing strong potential on the field, which has led to him receiving offers from the likes of Baylor, Miami, SMU, Texas Tech and now Ohio State. It is not a secret Ohio State has had great success at recruiting and developing the position, so if the team remains interested in him throughout his recruitment, expect them to be contenders until the end.
Ohio State’s 2026 recruiting class continues to gain praises, in large part to the Buckeyes recent success in flipping a handful of recruits committed elsewhere. However, on Monday the Buckeyes recruiting class received praises in the form of recruiting rankings.

Rivals released its updated 2026 recruiting rankings and multiple Ohio State recruits were listed as five-star recruits. Wide receiver Chris Henry, cornerback Jay Timmons and defensive lineman Khary Wilder were not all just listed as five-star recruits, but all were listed No. 1 at their respective position.
Ohio State is set to learn later today whether or not it will be adding a four-star offensive tackle to its 2026 recruiting class. Kevin Brown (Harrisburg, PA / Harrisburg) had long been committed to Penn State. However, following the coaching changes in Happy Valley during a disappointing season, Brown began looking at other schools to ensure he goes to the best school for him.
This last weekend Brown officially decommitted from Penn State and is already scheduled to announce the next school he will choose. He is scheduled to announce a decision later today between West Virginia, Ohio State and North Carolina, with West Virginia being the heavy favorites.

He is scheduled to announce his commitment live on Pat McAfee’s show, who is a well-known West Virginia alumni.
