The No. 1-ranked Nebraska women’s volleyball team improved to 25-0 with a four-set victory Friday night against UCLA in front of a crowd of 10,498, the largest ever at Pauley Pavilion to watch the sport contested.
The lone undefeated team nationally, the Huskers won 25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 25-15. The third-set loss snapped a streak of 48 consecutive set wins for Nebraska. It last dropped a set on Sept. 16.

Nebraska has played in seven matches this season — and 19 since 2023 — that set arena attendance records for volleyball. In Big Ten play, matches involving Nebraska as the visitor have established records this year for the largest volleyball crowds at Michigan, Michigan State, Rutgers and the historic home of UCLA basketball.
The previous attendance record for volleyball at Pauley Pavilion was 7,200.
Nebraska plays Sunday at USC’s Galen Center, which is sold out for the first time for a volleyball match.
Junior middle blocker Andi Jackson led Nebraska on Friday with 15 kills on .625 hitting efficiency.
Jackson, outside hitter Harper Murray and setter Bergen Reilly are among 14 semifinalists for the American Volleyball Coaches Association National Player of the Year. The award will be presented Dec. 19, around the NCAA semifinals and championship match in Kansas City, Mo.

Nebraska has led the nation in home attendance for 11 consecutive years and has sold out 349 consecutive matches at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Under first-year coach Dani Busboom Kelly, the Huskers are seeking a sixth national championship and first since 2017. Busboom Kelly won a title with Nebraska as a player in 2006 and as an assistant coach in 2015. She directed Louisville to appearances in the 2022 and 2024 national championship matches.
