Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has doubled down on some Chelsea transfer news regarding striker Nicolas Jackson.
The Blues player is currently on loan at Bayern Munich for the season, but it has become pretty clear that they will not be signing him in the summer when his loan deal runs out, and he will return back to Chelsea.

EXCLUSIVE! Two more NEW names added to Chelsea summer list of targets – One from Wolves and one from Atletico Madrid!! 👀
But does that mean he now has a chance of coming back into the Chelsea squad and in the thinking of new manager Liam Rosenior? Well, anything can happen in this game, but Romano still doesn’t think Jackson will, despite reports from Germany yesterday suggesting that Jackson could now move forward and stay with Chelsea into next season and beyond.
Romano was always adamant that Jackson was leaving Chelsea before the summer of 2025 and that there was no way he would be staying at the club. So this paints the picture that his Chelsea story is over, and now he’s doubling down on that.

In words cited on X last night, Romano said on Nicolas Jackson:
“Remember Chelsea already signed a striker for the summer, [Emmanuel] Emegha, who is similar in terms of skills to Jackson, so that’s a point. Of course a change of manager means a possibility [Nicolas] Jackson stays, but my understanding is that it’s expected that different opportunities on the market will be explored, rather than staying.”
He literally refused to come back
Chelsea tried to stop his loan move to Bayern when Liam Delap got injured but the striker point blankly refused to come back. It would SHOCK me if they could all move forward together now!
