MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Notre Dame remains 2.5 fave … Posted by TIV
To me that means it’s a very winnable game for us. It should be one hell of a game. Beating ND will bring us tremendous national prestige, something this team badly needs. As far as I know it’s the only televised game on Sunday night Aug. 31st which means the whole country will be watching.
To put this into more perspective we were 6-7 against the spread last year while ND was 12-4. Let’s hope we can break that streak and win it outright. I think we can. ND will undoubtedly be our toughest game of the year. Then in no particular order UF, SMU, Louisville and Pitt in cold weather in the last game of the year. That’s just my opinion.
Of course we need to run it up against Syracuse and their sleazy HC. That would shut him up.
Any thoughts or opinions are welcomed.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“I feel like I’ve had an underdog story my whole career. But I feel like I was fueled by dirty energy. I was angry. I was mad at the world. I feel this year I am at peace with my situation. I put it in God’s hand and he pointed me in the right direction, and he put me in a place that he knew that I would blossom and be able to grow and show what I can do. Everything happens for a reason, and God does everything for a reason. He knows I can get through it. He knows I can strive and succeed.”
