    Malachi Moore among Alabama football NFL preseason Week 3 standouts

    The 2025 NFL preseason has now officially passed.

    Yes, this past Thursday-Saturday, all 32 of the NFL’s teams were back in action for the final time this preseason, and as expected, multiple former Alabama Crimson Tide players also took the field yet again.

    Included in this group were some of the Crimson Tide’s rookies this season, as well as a few veterans who entered the week potentially playing for a roster spot with their respective teams.

    The final slate of the 2025 NFL preseason schedule, let’s take a look at some of the biggest Crimson Tide standouts from Week 3.

    Malachi Moore, Safety – New York Jets

    Moore had undoubtedly his best NFL showing yet Friday night during the Jets 19-17 home loss against the Eagles. A safety, Moore tied for the team-lead with seven tackles, four of which were solo, while also finishing with one TFL, a PD, and an interception.

    Ronnie Harrison Jr., Safety – Atlanta Falcons

    Harrison was Atlanta’s leading tackler during the Falcons’ 31-13 road loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The safety ended with seven tackles, three of which were solo.

    Jaylen Key, Safety – Cincinnati Bengals

    Key impressed defensively during Cincinnati’s 41-14 loss at home to the Indianapolis Colts. The former Alabama safety finished with six tackles, four of which were solo.

    Que Robinson, Outside Linebacker – Denver Broncos

    Robinson had a big impact defensively during Denver’s 28-19 road win at New Orleans, finishing with four tackles, three of which were solo. The rookie also had one sack, one TFL, and one quarterback hit.

    JK Scott, Punter – Los Angeles Chargers

    Concluding on special teams, Scott was busy during the Chargers 30-23 road loss at San Francisco. In all, Scott had seven punts for a total of 304 yards, which is an average of 43.4 yards per punt, while also downing four punts inside the 20-yard line with a long of 51 yards.
