Here’s how to nominate athletes for South Bend Tribune Athlete of the Week
If you have an athlete you would like for us to consider for our Athlete of the Week award, here is how you do so!
It’s time for another week of Michigan and Indiana high school football! There are still three undefeated South Bend Tribune area teams − Niles, Penn and South Bend Saint Joseph − more than halfway through the high school football season.
The Vikings (5-0) host Wolverine Conference rival Three Rivers (4-1), the Kingsmen (6-0) travel to Rice Field for a showdown against Elkhart (4-2) and the Huskies host cross-town foe South Bend Riley (3-3). The Tribune’s Kyle Smedley will have in-person coverage at Niles, while the Tribune’s Scott Davidson will have on-site coverage for a huge Northern Lakes Conference (NLC) contest between Mishawaka (5-1) and Warsaw (4-2) at Steele Stadium.
