The Oklahoman’s fall girls sport athletes of the week poll for Sept. 8-14 presented by Landmark Fine Homes is now live at oklahoman.com.
Voting is open until noon Sunday.
Last week’s winner was Guthrie cross country runner Taylor Schroder, who earned 27,102 votes.
Here are this week’s nominees.

Volleyball
Skylar Brady, Sr., Bethany: The Kansas State commit helped the Bronchos go 6-1 last week, including 6-0 at their home tournament as they won the title. Brady was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
Sloane Rattay, So., Stillwater: The outside hitter led the Pioneers in kills as they beat Norman 3-1 and Norman North 3-0. Rattay had 23 kills and 25 digs over the two matches.
Jaeli Rutledge, Sr., Edmond North: She helped the Huskies beat Deer Creek 3-0 and Mustang 3-1. Rutledge had 25 kills in those matches and had a .529 hitting percentage against Deer Creek.
Cross country
Miaya Briscoe, So., Kimber Beebe, Fr., Marina Miller, Fr., Minco: Running four days after Minco’s softball team was in a school bus crash that left several injured, Minco’s cross country trio each placed in the top 18 at Anadarko’s invitational Friday. Brisco placed 10th in the 2-mile race with a time of 15:15.13, while Beebe was 12th in 15:22.76 and Miller was 18th in 15:41.01.
Averly Hoy, Jr., Perkins-Tryon: She won Tonkawa’s meet as she completed the 2-mile race in 12:12.90.
Sloane Travis, Sr., Heritage Hall: She placed third in the Class 4A race at the Class 4A-A pre-state meet at North Rock Creek in Shawnee. Travis finished the 2-mile run in 12:05.23. She also won Meeker’s meet in 13:03.
Softball
Rylee Black, Fr., Blanchard: Black shined last week in the circle to go 3-0. She struck out 17 batters while only allowing two earned runs and nine hits.
Boo Herber, Sr., Dale: The South Carolina commit allowed one run on the week while striking out 28 batters. Herber currently has 122 strikeouts and has produced a 0.48 era for the season.
Addy Scott, Sr., Midwest City: Scott batted .700 in three games with an on-base percentage of .700 with an RBI and five runs.
