Denver Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham has the support of Broncos Country.
After losing Bo Nix to a season-ending ankle injury, the Broncos have turned to Stidham ahead of an AFC Championship game showdown with the New England Patriots on Sunday.

To show their support for the team’s new QB1, a large number of Denver fans have changed their profile pictures on social media to an updated LeBron James meme featuring Stidham. After practice on Wednesday, Stidham was asked if he’s noticed the trend.
“So I’m not actually on social media at the moment, but I have had multiple people send me the LeBron meme with the headphones and the sunglasses,” Stidham said. “I guess that’s pretty funny. It’s great. Broncos Country, in my opinion, is arguably the best fanbase in sports. I’m really excited to get out there in front of them. It’s been a long time since this game’s been played here, so I know that they’ll be rocking on Sunday.”
Stidham, 29, will make his fifth career start and the first postseason start of his career on Sunday. Backed by 76,000 fans at Empower Field at Mile High, Stidham will attempt to help the Broncos return to the Super Bowl for the ninth time in franchise history.
