Star Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton is a better closer than Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum or Oklahoma City Thunder Most Valuable Player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Or at least that is the case that was made by Mike Felger and Tony Massarotti on a recent episode of their eponymous “Felger and Mazz” show on their sports radio channel “98.5 The Sports Hub.”
And given what we have seen from Haliburton with the Pacers so far in the 2025 NBA Playoffs, there is a case that Hali is indeed a better closer than Tatum or SGA. But does his elite clutch capabilities in one playoff run really put him over these two established stars?
