Pep Guardiola head coach of Manchester City has admitted his team is going through difficult phase this season but insists Premier League title race is not over.
City suffered a setback after 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest in midweek. The result left them seven point behind leaders Arsenal although the defending champions still have one game in hand.
Guardiola’s side will also face Arsenal later in the season, with a key match scheduled for April which could play a major role in deciding the title race.

Speaking after the draw, Guardiola gave an honest assessment of his squad. He said the team is currently going through many changes and is still trying to find balance.

The Spanish coach explained that City are not “complete team” at the moment but he remains confident that the players can respond quickly.
According to Guardiola, if the squad learns from recent mistakes and improves in the coming weeks, the club could still reach the final month of the season with a real chance to fight for the title.
He also stressed that the team usually reacts well after difficult results and is capable of moving forward quickly.
Guardiola also looked ahead to next season. He said he is fully confident the next campaign will be better suggesting that the current transition period will help the team grow stronger.
