The Washington Commanders will have a perilously thin receiver room on Sunday afternoon as the team faces the hosting Dallas Cowboys.
The team will be without wideout Deebo Samuel, who has been ruled out for Sunday’s game with a heel injury.
Washington is already down superstar receiver Terry McLaurin for the Cowboys game, making Samuel’s absence all the more painful for the Commanders offense and quarterback Jayden Daniels especially.
Receiver Luke McCaffrey will have to step up in a big way with Samuel out, as will rookie wideout Jaylin Laine and journeyman wideout Chris Moore.
Dallas has struggled mightily on defense this season, so perhaps the Commanders will be able to make do without Samuel this week?
