A college baseball player hit a home run when he found both a team and a family!

When Brady Crabtree joined Lassen College’s baseball team in Susanville, California, he never imagined becoming a part of coach Frank Avilla Jr.’s family. But that’s exactly what happened when he met Frank’s daughters: 10-year-old Peach, 6-year-old Pearl, and 3-year-old June.

“Brady just got them,” said their mom, Terra Avilla. “He’d listen to their endless stories, never making them feel like they were a bother. I’d see them huddled up, sharing secrets or laughing until their bellies hurt.”

The bond grew stronger as Brady showed up at soccer games, recitals, and even helped coach Pearl’s T-ball team.

Emotions ran high when Brady finished his last game and was about to graduate. “My girls cried so hard, and honestly, so did Frank and I,” Terra said. “It was heartbreaking to see them so sad, but it also showed just how deeply they loved him, how real that bond was.”

However, Brady made a special promise to his honorary sisters.

Watch the video above to see how Brady kept his promise to the girls!
