Move over March Madness, Josh Giddy may have just made the best buzzer-beater we’ll see this month!
On Thursday, the Chicago Bulls looked down and out against the Los Angeles Lakers late in the game. The Lakers took what was seemingly a last-second 117-116 lead with 3.3 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. However, the Bulls had time for one last possession despite not having any more timeouts and boy, did they make some magic with it.
With just those few precious seconds remaining, Giddy threw out the inbound pass before receiving it right back with some space ahead of him. And with just one second remaining on the clock, Giddy heaved the ball from the Bulls’ logo at half court in an unbelievable shot … that went in!
What a miracle of a moment. And it didn’t even touch the glass either!
