Buccaneers outside linebacker Haason Reddick is questionable to return to Tampa Bay’s Week 4 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles with a stinger and a possible concussion. Reddick has four tackles, including one for a loss, through three quarters.
Reddick will be spelled by Chris Braswell, with Anthony Nelson and Markees Watts seeing more work in the Bucs’ edge rush rotation. The Bucs’ outside linebackers have not gotten to Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts today, thanks to solid protection by the Eagles’ excellent tackle duo of Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata.
Fortunately, Vita Vea has dominated up front and has two sacks. After dominating last week, Yaya Diaby has yet to record a sack or even a quarterback hit, thanks in no small part to Hurts’ running ability and overall strength. Even Todd Bowles’ blitzes have not gotten to Hurts, so losing Reddick could be a major issue for the Bucs pass rush for the rest of the game.
