The Denver Broncos suffered a 23-20 defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon, dropping them to 1-2. Following that division loss, here are the best (and worst) player grades from Pro Football Focus.
Broncos best offensive players
- WR Courtland Sutton: 77.5
- LT Garett Bolles: 75.2
- C Luke Wattenberg: 68.9
- RB RJ Harvey: 60.8
- WR Pat Bryant: 60.0
Sutton had a big day with six catches for 118 yards and a touchdown. We did not include backup offensive lineman Alex Palczewski (62.5) because he only played three snaps on offense.

- TE Adam Trautman: 30.2
- TE/FB Nate Adkins: 40.7
- WR Troy Franklin: 40.9
- TE Lucas Krull: 51.2
- OG Pen Powers: 52.5
QB Bo Nix was given a rating of 57.9. He had no turnovers and one touchdown pass, but Nix’s three overthrows proved to be costly.

- OLB Jonathon Cooper: 78.4
- DL D.J. Jones: 78.1
- DL John Franklin-Myers: 73.1

PFF must not have liked Nik Bonitto’s run defending. The star edge defender received a grade of just 67.9 after totaling five quarterback hits and two sacks.
Broncos worst defensive grades
- LB Alex Singleton: 36.3
- OLB Jonah Elliss: 41.4
- DL Jordan Jackson: 43.4
- CB Riley Moss: 47.0

Denver’s struggles at inside linebacker continue, and Dre Greenlaw (quad) is set to miss at least three more games.

- LS Mitchell Fraboni: 72.8
- KR Marvin Mims: 69.1
- P Jeremy Crawshaw: 69.7
