The Chicago Bears offense has come alive in Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys, but they don’t have their first-round tight end to work with. Rookie Colston Loveland exited Sunday’s game near the end of the first half with a hip injury. He came up hobbling following an incomplete pass thrown his way from quarterback Caleb Williams and exited the field. Loveland was questionable to return but was downgraded to doubtful in the second half.
The Bears have involved all of their pass catchers against the Cowboys, including Loveland. The rookie caught one pass for 31 yards early in the first quarter that set up the Bears’ first touchdown. Hopefully Loveland’s injury isn’t severe, and fortunately, the Bears don’t miss him too much, as they’re up 31-14 on the Cowboys late in the fourth quarter.
