Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh said the Ravens are looking to set up joint practices with the Colts and Commanders this summer at training camp
The Ravens have announced the dates and times of their three preseason games scheduled for later this summer. Baltimore has one home game and two road games ahead of the Week 1 matchup against Buffalo.
The Ravens will start the preseason with a home game against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, August 7, at 7:00 p.m. EST. Baltimore will then travel to Dallas in preseason Week 2 on August 16. Then they’ll wrap things up locally against the Washington Commanders before reducing the roster to 53 players and beginning preparation for the season opener against the Bills.
Following Wednesday’s second OTA practice of the summer, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed that the organization is interested in separate single-day joint practice sessions with the Colts and Commanders.
Last summer, before a preseason matchup against the Packers, Harbaugh offered insight into his preference for evaluating talent through joint practices against other teams.
For Baltimore, it’ll give Lamar Jackson two intense tune-up sessions against elite competition before the team kicks off the regular season in Buffalo against the Bills. Jackson has historically sat out preseason games.
