Age reversing or reverse ageing has become a trend that many lifestyle and health influencers have been targeting in order to increase life longevity and slow down the physiological changes in the body. American entrepreneur and millionaire Bryan Johnson has been one of the most successful and popular people trying the process at the cost of $2 million annually. But now, Julie Clark, a 56-year-old woman is going viral for her reverse ageing process which apparently costs only $4 per day.
Recently, Craig Brockie, a health researcher and best-selling author took to X to share about Julie Clark, a 56-year-old woman whose biological age is 36. Brockie wrote how Clark was reinventing the science of ageing, outpacing Bryan Johnson and ranking #2 on the global longevity board. Brockie also shared Clark’s anti-aging routine for best health and lasting longevity. Here’s what it is:

    Morning Routine

Clark shared that during the week, she wakes up between 4-5 AM, makes her bed, grabs a cup of green tea and engages in calming activities such as reading and meditating. Post this she heads to the gym. However, on the weekends, she will let her body take its time with no alarms or commitments. Her weekends are for her body and mind to enjoy and relax.

    Movement

Clark trains six days a week

The second part of Clark’s routine is movement. She puts emphasis on keeping the body active and strong by training for six days a week- 3 days for lifting and 3 days for cardio. Her weight sessions include compound movements such as Romanian deadlifts and split squats and during cardio, she focuses on Zone 2 training by keeping her heart rate between 60-70% of its max. She ends her workout with a 20-30 minute sauna and a 5-minute cold shower later.

    Diet

Clark ensures the consumption of 1 lb of vegetables

After burning up the energy, it’s time to gain some. Rather than counting her calories, she keeps track of the food she eats. She ensures the consumption of 1 lb of vegetables half of which is greens and 100g of protein. Throughout the day her food intake includes a breakfast of moringa, fermented greens, collagen and maca, a lunch of a bowl of veggies with eggs or meat and a dinner of steak, greens or sardines.

    Supplements

    Clark takes limited supplements

Supplements are usually what biohackers splurge on but for Clark they are limited. She takes pills of B-complex, fish oil, probiotics, Magnesium, Vitamin D3 + K2, Inositol, Apigenin & L-theanine.

    Sleep Schedule

Clark is in bed by 8 and asleep by 8:30. An hour before her bedtime she heads for a long walk of 6-9K steps with some calming music to keep company. Before sleeping, she does a bit of stretching, followed by washing her face and feet.

Why is Julie Clark’s reverse-aging routine in talks?

Bryan Johnson has been the popular face of reverse ageing for quite some time now. However, his process called the Blueprint, includes a strict vegan diet, multiple supplements, rigorous exercise and other processes which amount to an estimated $2 million annually. Here, Clark’s reverse ageing routine which is simple, affordable and easier to follow, with surprisingly effective results is a gleaming alternative.

What is the concept of reverse ageing?

Reverse ageing or age reversing, is where people try to slow down the biological ageing of the body and the physiological changes associated with it. While complete reversal is still not practical, researchers have been exploring ways to intervene at the cellular and molecular level to potentially restore age-related changes. Here, people have been targeting their biological age, which is the health and functionality of the body’s systems with the help of changes in lifestyle and some treatments.
