Nimrat Kaur wears a denim look with an Indian fusion twist
Nimrat Kaur wore a Canadian tuxedo but gave her outfit an Indian twist. The actor’s recent denim-on-denim look was cool, casual and chichi. She perfectly balanced a modern, stylish look with a subtle hint of Indianness.
The 43-year-old wore a denim set by Faabiiana Prret, which featured what can best be described as a variety of oxidised earrings. The denim jacket and pants were embellished with the pieces of jewellery in a style that was similar to yet a lot more toned down than the bejewelled blouse worn by Isha Ambani for the pre-wedding festivities of Anant and Radhika Ambani last March.
However, Isha’s blouse was designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. It also featured pieces of Isha’s own jadau jewellery, along with precious stones like diamonds and rubies that were stitched onto it.
The actor, best known for her roles in films like Airlift, Daasvi, Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video, and more, styled it with a white halter top and white pointed-toe stilettos for a contemporary look. Styled by Shaleena Nathani, Nimrat wore silver dangling earrings and a massive cocktail ring to amp up the bling for this fit.
With her hair tied in a half-up, half-down pony, she further added glow to the look with a shimmery body oil. Her make-up, while simple, was classy: matte brown shadow on her eyes, a pinky blush and a nude glossy lip completed the look.

Nimrat, who plays one of the key antagonists, Meera, alongside actor Jaideep Ahlawat’s Rukma, in the new season of The Family Man, opens up about the thrilling opportunity to embrace a character that is charming, dangerous and unapologetically ruthless.
Talking about her character, she told PTI in an interview, “She is a bitter chocolate, delicious as a character because she is unachievable for a common person… The fun of playing something like that is the flamboyance, the flair, and just the unapologetic ruthlessness that you can have fun with. It’s just like intoxication.”
