    Politicians, artists, entrepreneurs to converge on April 12 to discuss Pakistan’s governance, economy, climate

    The Pakistan Conference is getting bigger and this time including a full day of activities and conversations regarding governance, economy, climate, and human capital. The conference, taking place at Harvard University on April 12, will be attended by Pakistani politicians, business owners, chairmen, content creators, actors, designers, musicians, journalists, educators, and entrepreneurs. 

    Notable attendees include Actor and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Mahira Khan, Digital Storyteller and Content Creator Rida Ali, Chief Executive Officer of Jazz Aamir Ibrahim, Singer Momina Mustehsan, Former Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, and Designer and Philanthropist Hassan Shehryar Yasin, amongst many more.

     

    The official page for the conference shared details of the event, highlighting it as “the second chapter of North America’s leading gathering on Pakistan’s economic, cultural, and global future”. It went on to say that “this is not a conversation about problems but a forum of performance,” adding “If you care about where Pakistan is headed and how it shows up on the world stage, you belong in this room.”

     

    The event promises to be a convergence of ideas, talent, and culture, celebrating Pakistan’s rich heritage. The page announced that the event will even feature a Qawaali night hosted by the Saami Brothers, captioning the post “700 years of unbroken tradition.”
