Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma made his regal fashion debut on JJ Valaya’s runway at FDCI’s Hyundai India Couture Week 2025, in association with Reliance Brands.
Abhishek Sharma opened the show looking suave in a stunning Nehru jacket from JJ Valaya’s EAST, a royal nomadic journey through time, culture and couture. The intricately embroidered Nehru jacket was brought to life with delicate silk threadwork and fine bead embellishments.
As Abhishek walked like royalty through the Crystal Ballroom of JW Marriott, Aerocity, New Delhi, which celebrated JJ Valaya’s creative vision, the jacket exuded quiet opulence through its striking Oriental flora and fauna print. The jacket was enriched with a medley of artisanal techniques from shimmering zari and Resham embroidery to the use of beads, crystals, stones, and bugle beads.
The design was further elevated with mixed sequin zardozi that added a touch of opulence. Paired with a custom-printed silk kurta, JJ Valaya’s ensemble is a celebration of craftsmanship, texture, and detail. And Abhishek honoured the look with panache.

Jewellery designer Archana Aggarwal joined forces with legendary couturier JJ Valaya to create a collection that brought royal grandeur to life. Inspired by palatial opulence and timeless Indian weddings, the collaboration featured intricate gemstone earrings, handcrafted matha pattis, and statement layered necklaces—designed to complement Valaya’s signature silhouettes and transform brides and grooms into modern-day royalty.
Abhishek Sharma complemented JJ Valaya’s showstopper look with a regal Jadau choker. Crafted in 18K gold, the choker was adorned with lustrous Polki diamonds, vibrant emeralds, and rare tanzanites. This statement piece designed by Archana Aggarwal, blended traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary glamour, perfectly complementing JJ Valaya’s visionary couture. Each gemstone was meticulously set to reflect opulence and heritage, making it a tribute to timeless elegance.
